A BIT ABOUT SITLINGTON JUNIOR FOOTBALL CLUB
Sitlington Junior Football Club is newly established and based in Netherton, Wakefield.
We currently play in the Huddersfield Junior League on Sundays. Training and home games are held at Netherton Junior and Infants School with the following age groups u7, u8, u9 and u10’s.
Bringing the community together, our philosophy is to provide equal opportunities to all children that want to play football. We encourage, teach and develop young players to allow them to reach their potential and goals, whilst developing positive relationships with their peers along the way.

"My son has just finished his first season of football and watching him develop and learn has been so pleasing for me which has ignited my passion to want to be involved in Junior football. The project has taken off massively and the buzz around the local village and surrounding areas is incredible. The club’s philosophy is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to play, learn and most importantly have fun. There has been a lot of hard work behind the scenes to ensure that we are a professional and successful Junior football club, our club partnership with Emley AFC has been a real highlight. I would like to personally thank those who have helped and supported us with sponsorship, kind donations and grants to get us on our way".
